Hereditary Hemochromatosis
- You must be at least 17 years old
- Weigh at least 110 pounds
- Be reasonably healthy with no acute symptoms, no active sinus drainage or fever
- Have no history of heart disease or malignancy
- Recent surgery-must be released by Dr.
- Blood transfusion-1 year deferral
- Cannot be pregnant
- Heart attack victim 1 year deferral with Dr. release
- Cannot be on antibiotics for 72 hours
- Tattoos are now permitted if done in a licensed place
